ARTISTS

FORMA TADRE

Industrial / EBM / Dark Ambient

Forma Tadre is the visionary electronic music project of Andreas Meyer, a German artist crafting cinematic soundscapes that blur the boundaries between industrial, EBM, and dark ambient. Named as a tribute to Tangerine Dream's landmark album "Force Majeure," Andreas has been exploring the darker corners of electronic music since the mid-1980s. Over the decades, Andreas has collaborated with luminaries like Haujobb, produced remixes for Coil and Wumpscut, and he continues to push boundaries with thought-provoking abstract and soundtrack music. His work is uncompromising, atmospheric, and deeply personal.

Navigator, originally released in 1996, marked a pivotal moment in Forma Tadre's evolution — a bold departure into epic, symphonic instrumentals woven with highly-technical EBM tracks. Drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's cosmic horror and themes of exploration, the album created an immersive world where science fiction soundtracks meet the raw power of industrial music. Now, 30 years after its original release, Navigator makes its vinyl debut through Analog Frontier with 2 exclusive bonus tracks and all new artwork, bringing this underground classic back to life.
